Even people who are far from nature love plants. Apparently, this is the call of distant ancestors who lived in forests and felt good among the wild nature.

Scientists even conducted studies, which revealed that the presence of plants in the home has a calming effect on the human psyche.

The problem arises when flowers spoil the interior. And this happens almost always. To avoid imbalance, you need to know how to place them correctly.

People who love flowers more than interior

There are people for whom floriculture is in the first place. They are ready to sacrifice not only the beauty of the interior, but even their own comfort for the sake of their green charges.

If the plants themselves are of great importance to you, then it is better to act at your own discretion, without sacrificing them for the sake of style. After all, each person has their own values and joy in life. But even in this situation, you can approach the design of the house from a creative side, and not just plant flowers in plastic bottles and ugly pots.

People who love both plants and stylish interiors

If you are not an avid gardener, but still like to have greenery in your home, then you should approach the arrangement of plants wisely.

There are several rules that designers follow:
1. Flowers are considered as an interior object. They should fit into the overall concept and complement the picture, and not be independent elements.

2. The main goal is played by a pot or a cachepot. They are selected carefully, like a decorative vase or a figurine.
Avoid cheap plastic products. Opt for ceramic or wooden pots and planters. With careful handling, such a product will last for decades, so the costs are justified.

3. Only large plants in tubs are placed on the floor. Small ones are placed on single stands.

4. Plants should be in moderation. And they should be well-groomed.

5. Be careful with stands. They often spoil the interior. Choose unusual models, or better yet, order from professionals.

People who love cut flowers

Fans of cut flowers should have at least two vases. For large bouquets and for small ones. Ideally, it is worth buying a narrow, tall vase for a single flower.

Small compact bouquets can decorate a coffee table, shelf, or bedside table.

Tall ones should be placed on a chest of drawers or a table against the wall. But never on the floor, where a gorgeous bouquet will look more like a broom that has nowhere to go, but it’s a shame to throw it away.

If you don’t like fresh flowers because of the need to constantly care for them, you can decorate your home with bouquets of dried flowers.

They are treated with special compounds and do not lose their original attractiveness for a long time.

Live flowers in tubs can be replaced with artificial ones. But here you should choose high-quality products that are indistinguishable from real ones. Otherwise, they will greatly cheapen even the most expensive interior.

Artificial flowers or dried flowers should be placed according to the same principle as live ones.
