Most of us are familiar with the problem of small bathrooms, where there is sometimes not enough space to install everything you need, not to mention towels, household chemicals and other related items.

However, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, has some useful advice on furniture and its placement in such rooms.

Floating furniture

Those who are arranging small rooms should take a closer look at hanging furniture. If you want to make the bathroom look more interesting and voluminous, run light strips along the bottom of the cabinets and the screen under the bathtub.

Wallpaper-imitation tiles

Small bathrooms are often incompatible with such a concept as coziness. However, modern building materials, namely tiles stylized as wallpaper, will help solve this problem. With the help of complex prints, you can create a fashionable design and not worry about how the wall covering will cope with the high humidity that reigns in the bathroom.

Accents

Regardless of what goal you have set for yourself – to play with scale or divide the space into zones, you can do this with the help of bright accents. You can create any combinations using square tiles. An equally effective option is plain walls and ceiling and a floor in a contrasting color.

Open shelves

Replace the blind screen with open shelves. However, you won’t be able to place household chemicals on them – it doesn’t look very aesthetically pleasing. To make the bathroom look beautiful, first place bottles of detergents in beautiful baskets and containers.

Glass curtain

Glass, like mirrors, is ideal for small spaces. A glass curtain looks much more solid than a fabric one and protects the floor from splashes better. In addition, such a curtain is almost invisible, so it does not divide or fragment the space.
