5 important nuances to remember when renovating your kitchen: so that it turns out not only beautiful, but also practical

Perhaps every housewife dreams of a beautiful, and also practical and functional kitchen.

To make it exactly like this, listen to the advice of the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", designer Yulia Tychino.

1. Plan in advance the places where the built-in household appliances will be located. They should be located where it will be convenient to use.

For example, you are unlikely to appreciate the charm of an oven that is too high, just as a dishwasher that is too low will only become annoying over time.

In most cases, the best solution is to place the equipment at waist level.

2. Try to make sure that the proximity of items in the kitchen is successful.

Take, for example, the "main characters" of the kitchen block - the stove and the refrigerator. You shouldn't put them next to each other, but you shouldn't put them too far apart either. Ideally, the distance between them should be at least 60 cm.

3. When choosing a floor covering for the kitchen, remember that glossy ceramic tiles, although easy to clean, are very slippery, while matte and rough tiles are the absolute opposite: they are less slippery, but much harder to clean.

Parquet and laminate flooring in the kitchen are not the best idea: you will constantly have to worry about an accidentally dropped cup or spilled boiling water damaging the flooring.

4. As for the heated floor in the kitchen, it is definitely not necessary to make it continuous.

Place the heating elements in the center of the room, leaving space under the kitchen unit, refrigerator and stove without heating.

5. At the finishing stage, decide on the number of sockets in the kitchen - they should be everywhere where you plan to place the main electrical appliances, and install three more as a reserve.
