The death of American music producer and composer Quincy Jones was recently announced.

The winner of 28 Grammy Awards, who worked with Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra, among others, has died at the age of 91.

The MIA Rossiya Segodnya agency reported on the sad event with reference to the ABC News television channel.

Jones' family released a statement calling the death of "our father and brother an incredible loss" for the entire family.

We must celebrate the great life he lived and know that there will never be another person like him," the statement said.

According to the TV channel, the producer died on Monday night at his home in Los Angeles.

It is noted that Jones has worked with hundreds of singers, including such celebrities as Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles.

He also took part in the recording of one of Michael Jackson's most famous albums, Thriller.
