What is the most correct method?
First of all, you need to decide on the type of rice. Round-grain rice is best for cabbage rolls. It cooks quickly enough and retains its shape without turning into mush.
First, the cereal should be rinsed several times and placed in a container with cold water for two hours.
All that's left to do is to put the cereal in the pan. Don't overcook it: rice only takes five minutes to cook after boiling.
Then it is combined with the other ingredients and sent to the cabbage rolls.
It is best to add fried carrots and onions, which have been heat-treated with spices, to the filling. It is also worth peeling the tomatoes and grating a couple of them.
Chopped garlic is also great for this dish.
