During the Soviet Union, pickled cucumbers were also sold in stores, and they were very tasty.

We'll tell you how to prepare exactly the same cucumbers.

How to deliciously roll cucumbers

Soak the cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water, you can change the water a couple of times.

Place one or two cloves of garlic on the bottom of the jar, add cucumbers, sprigs and umbrellas of fresh dill with seeds.

Pour boiling water into the jars, cover with lids, and leave for 7-10 minutes.

Then we drain the water into a saucepan and prepare the marinade in this water, and pour boiling water over the cucumbers again (then we drain the second water into the sink).

For the marinade, per liter of water you need 140-150 grams of sugar (7 tbsp), 2 tbsp of salt and 2 tbsp of vinegar essence (70%).

Drain the second water from the jars and add black peppercorns (5-6 pieces per liter jar), bay leaf (1/4 per jar), a teaspoon of dry mustard seeds and dill.

Pour boiling marinade, roll up the jars. You can turn them over, no need to wrap them up.
