How to make vegetable jelly: have you tried this unusual drink yet?

You will need:

  • 1 glass of vegetables (carrots, pumpkin, zucchini, etc.);
  • 2 glasses of water;
  • 2 tablespoons potato starch;
  • ¾ cup sugar.

To prepare jelly, you need to peel and cut the selected vegetables into small pieces.

After this, pour boiling water over the jelly base and cook over low heat until the vegetables become soft.

The resulting broth should be strained, and the vegetables should be rubbed through a sieve. Put the vegetable broth back on the fire, adding sugar, and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Now dissolve the starch in cold water and pour it in a thin stream into the pan, stirring constantly.

All that remains is to remove the pan with the jelly from the stove, add the vegetable puree to it and let it cool.
