All apples that are not grown in your own garden or orchard are usually treated with chemicals to kill insects and keep them fresh.
For this reason, simply washing with water will not remove these chemicals completely.
So you have 2 options.
The first is to peel the apples, but then you lose out on the vitamins and fiber they contain.
The second way of development of events is to use a soda solution to wash apples.
It is prepared by mixing a teaspoon of baking soda in 0.5 liters of water.
If you notice that the fruit has an unnatural shine, it is likely that it has been treated with wax.
In this case, the apples should be additionally treated with hot water, after placing them in a colander. If at this point you notice that whitish stains have appeared on the fruit, this means that you are almost there and the wax coating is washed off by the hot water.
