You can make a delicious lasagna, a traditional Italian dish, without ready-made sheets, replacing them with thin pancakes.
It is clear that such a recipe is far from classic, but what difference does it make to us if it turns out delicious and, moreover, quite budget-friendly?
So put all doubts aside – quickly stock up on the necessary ingredients and start cooking.
Break 3 chicken eggs into a large bowl, add 0.5 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar, then lightly beat with a whisk and pour in 220 g of pre-sifted wheat flour and 2 cups of milk.
The next step is to add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil and 0.5 cups of warm water to the dough. Using the same whisk, mix all the ingredients until smooth, and then bake pancakes from the resulting mass.
When the lasagna “base” is ready, start making the “filling”: cut the peeled onion into small cubes and fry in a frying pan with 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil.
After this, place 500 g of chopped champignons and 2 cloves of garlic crushed in a press into the frying pan. Mix the contents of the dish and fry for 3-4 minutes. After the specified time, reduce the heat and continue to stew the mushrooms with onions and garlic for about 8 more minutes.
Transfer all the ingredients from the frying pan to a deep plate, add chopped dill sprigs and 2 tablespoons of sour cream, and after you have salted and peppered the resulting mixture, mix it thoroughly.
This mushroom filling should be placed on the edge of the pancake and rolled into a roll - this way until the mushrooms or pancakes run out. Place the made rolls in a pre-greased form and set aside, and in the meantime, prepare the béchamel sauce.
For this you will need 40 g of soft butter, 90 g of flour and 2 cups of milk, as well as salt and a couple of pinches of nutmeg. Mix the future sauce and cook it until thickened, stirring constantly. While the sauce is hot, pour it over the pancakes and sprinkle 100 g of hard cheese, grated on a fine grater, on top.
Lasagna should be cooked in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for only 20 minutes.
