Champagne is a drink that usually decorates festive tables.

But it can also be used to make airy mousses with whipped cream, which can be a great way to end a dinner.

At the same time, the cooking process is quite simple. It is enough to strictly follow the recipe to get a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • sparkling wine - 200 ml;
  • sugar - 50 g;
  • yolks - 3 pcs.;
  • gelatin - 7 g;
  • cream (33% fat) - 300 ml;
  • powdered sugar - 60 g.

How to Make Champagne Mousse

The yolks and sugar must be mixed until smooth.

Then you can pour in the sparkling drink. After that, the mixture needs to be stirred again.

If desired, you can add a little liqueur to the mixture.

Then the mass should be put on low heat. It should be cooked for no more than 10 minutes. The preparation should be constantly stirred. It is important not to bring it to a boil.

After another two minutes, you need to beat it.

In a separate container, dissolve the gelatin with three spoons of champagne. Melt the mass in three steps in the microwave. Do not bring it to a boil.

Using a mixer, mix the powdered sugar with the chilled cream.

After this, you need to pour gelatin into the egg mixture. Lastly, you need to add whipped cream. The resulting mousse should be laid out in bowls and put in the refrigerator for three hours.

Before serving, decorate the dessert with berries, mint or almonds.
