Some dishes are very simple, but because they are prepared very rarely, they can end up on the holiday table.
We are talking about buckwheat pancakes. They are very filling, tasty and in some houses they are prepared for holidays.
You will need:
- buckwheat flour - 100 g;
- wheat flour - 100 g;
- water - 500 ml;
- sugar - 2 tbsp;
- dry yeast 2 tsp;
- salt to taste.
How to cook
1. Dissolve yeast in 250 ml of warm water and add sugar, salt, stir.
2. Then sift the flour here, mix it and put the finished dough in a warm place for 40 minutes.
3. The dough should increase in volume by 1.5-2 times, after which you can add buckwheat flour and mix thoroughly.
4. Now you can add about 125 ml of water at room temperature and leave the dough to sit for 30 minutes, then add another 125 ml of water, stir and you can bake pancakes.
They say that in the old days, buckwheat pancakes were served at the festive table instead of bread.
