If you don't want to be disappointed with the shrimp you've prepared yourself, clean them properly - this way you won't have to worry about an unpleasant smell or specific taste.
Before you begin cleaning frozen shrimp, they should be thoroughly rinsed under cool running water.
Then place them on a paper towel and dry them a little.
Place the still frozen but already clean shrimp in a dry deep container and sprinkle them with a large amount of salt. Wait a few minutes and begin the processing.
Now you can place the seafood under cool running water, where it should be kept until it is completely defrosted.
Then cut the shell and carefully remove it, not forgetting the shrimp legs.
You should act carefully so as not to tear off pieces of meat.
It remains to process the area with the intestinal vein. Please note: if the defrosting is not complete, this "element" of the shrimp may break and leave marks on the meat.
Once you are done cleaning, rinse the shrimp again under running water and pat dry with paper towels before using them as directed.
