Not only experienced housewives, but also very young cooks can prepare sausage from corn sticks, since this delicacy does not require baking.
The hardest part is probably preparing all the ingredients (note: it is better to take corn sticks with a creamy rather than fruity flavor, and pine nuts can be replaced with other nuts or sunflower seeds). So, you will need:
- 180 g corn sticks;
- 380 g boiled condensed milk;
- 100 g butter;
- 50 g pine nuts.
Corn sticks need to be cut into small pieces. You can break them with your hands, but not to the state of crumbs.
After this, mix the sticks with the nuts, and in another container combine the condensed milk and softened butter.
You can do this either with a spatula or with a mixer – it’s up to you.
Now all that's left to do is mix the cream with the sticks and nuts, then transfer the resulting mass onto cling film and form a sausage out of it.
The dessert should be placed in the refrigerator and left there for at least 6 hours.
After this time, you can start tasting. The best "companion" for corn stick sausage is hot cocoa.
