If you really want your guests to appreciate your culinary skills or talents, you don't need to aim for haute cuisine.
Even one bright dish against the general background will make this holiday unforgettable. Try making a liver salad with apple and cherry sauce.
You will need:
- liver (chicken) - 400 g;
- salad (fresh) - 200 g;
- cherries (frozen) - 100 g;
- apple - 1 pc.;
- vinegar (balsamic) - 2 tbsp;
- vegetable oil;
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. Clean, cut and fry the liver in vegetable oil for about four minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
When the liver is ready, cut it into strips.
2. Drain excess moisture from defrosted cherries, place berries in a saucepan and add balsamic vinegar.
3. Boil the berries for five minutes, and when they cool, grind them with a blender.
4. Peel the apple, cut into thin strips.
5. Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them, place them on a plate, and top with chopped liver and apple.
6. Add salt and pepper to taste, pour over cherry sauce and serve. Enjoy!
