Butterbeer is a drink with a long history, which gained particular popularity thanks to its mention in the Harry Potter books.
Despite its name, even children can drink this beer, because it does not contain alcohol, but cream and ice cream. Here's what you'll need to make the drink:
- 125 g 20% cream;
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon;
- 150 g ice cream;
- 150 g toffees;
- 200 g cream soda.
To serve, you will need another 2 tablespoons of whipped cream and 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup.
Pour the cream into a saucepan, add the toffees and cinnamon and, turning on low heat, heat the contents of the pan until the toffees are completely dissolved and the mixture acquires a thick consistency.
Transfer the slightly cooled mixture from the saucepan to a blender, add ice cream and beat.
All that remains is to pour in the soda (an important point – it should be straight from the refrigerator) and stir the drink.
Well, that's all - all that's left is to pour the butterbeer into glasses, garnish it with whipped cream and caramel syrup.
