Don't think any more about how to surprise your guests gathered at the festive table on New Year's Eve.
Here is a recipe for an expressive and no less delicious salad with the telling name "Russian Beauty". The dish in the form of a kokoshnik will become the main edible decoration.
You will need:
- potatoes - 500 g;
- chicken (fillet) - 350 gr;
- eggs - 4 pcs.;
- tomatoes - 300 g;
- cucumbers (fresh) - 250 g;
- ham - 200 gr;
- cheese - 200 g;
- mayonnaise - 150 g;
- greens, olives, black olives for decorating the salad;
- salt, black pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. Wash and boil the potatoes in their skins, then peel and grate on a coarse grater.
2. Boil the chicken fillet and let it cool without removing the meat from the broth. Then cut it into small cubes.
3. Boil the eggs hard, peel, separate the whites from the yolks. Grind them separately on a grater.
4. Peel the tomatoes, remove the core and seeds and cut into small cubes. Cut the cucumbers into thin strips.
5. Cut the ham into small cubes and form the salad.
6. The first layer is grated potatoes in the shape of a kokoshnik, cover with a layer of mayonnaise, then ham, cucumbers, chicken fillet, cheese. Grease each layer with mayonnaise.
7. Grease the top and sides with mayonnaise and cover the sides with the egg white and the top with the yolk.
Decorate the top with diced tomatoes, herbs, olives or black olives and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
