To prepare 5 servings you need:
- powdered gelatin - 30 g;
- salt - 1 pinch;
- sugar - 140 g;
- powdered sugar - 50 g;
- corn starch - 60 g;
- vanillin - 1 pinch;
- water - 250 ml.
If you want to make the taste brighter and also give the treat an interesting color, you can add any favorite jam.
If there is no such ingredient, then it is acceptable to use syrup.
Chocolate dessert lovers can safely use cocoa during preparation. Just 2-3 tablespoons with an additional component are enough.
How to make marshmallows
First, you need to mix the gelatin with some water and leave it to swell. At this time, you can start preparing other ingredients for the marshmallow.
You need to mix the rest of the water with all the other ingredients (except powdered sugar and starch).
The mixture should be cooked over medium heat for no more than 10 minutes.
In this case, the preparation must be stirred all the time.
You need to immediately add gelatin to the mixture and beat it with a mixer.
As soon as the volume has doubled, you need to transfer the dough into a mold, which it is advisable to first sprinkle with a mixture of starch and powdered sugar.
The marshmallows need to be placed in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours to set.
Before serving, the dessert should be cut into portions and generously sprinkled with powdered sugar.
