Not everyone likes liver, especially children. The only way to feed them this healthy product is to make cutlets so that no one would guess that they are made from liver.
You can find a lot of recipes, but the result is not always what you expect. Maybe this time it will be better.
Save the recipe for liver cutlets with semolina.
To prepare you will need:
- chicken liver - 500 g;
- semolina - 2/3 cup;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- salt - 1 tsp;
- vegetable oil.
How to cook
The liver needs to be washed, cleaned of veins and bile residues, and then chopped with a blender or passed through a meat grinder along with an onion cut into four parts.
Add chicken egg, semolina, salt to the resulting mass, mix and leave everything for 15-20 minutes.
When the semolina has swollen, you can heat up the frying pan and fry the cutlets in vegetable oil just like pancakes, on both sides until golden brown.
Then put the cutlets in a saucepan, add a little water and sour cream and simmer for 20 minutes until they are completely steamed.
Serve with any side dish.
