When the usual menu gets boring, housewives look for new recipes. A variant of an unusual side dish is zucchini puree.
Cooking takes 15 minutes, but it is better not to cook a lot at one time, because it is not recommended to leave the dish for the next day.
Ingredients
The list of products consists of:
- 1 piece of zucchini;
- 1 onion;
- 0.5-1 pc. carrots;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 2 sprigs of greenery;
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil;
- 100 ml of water;
- salt and spices.
How to make mashed potatoes
1. Grate the carrots and finely chop the onion. Fry the vegetables in oil until golden brown.
2. The garlic is pressed through a press and then mixed with onions and carrots in a frying pan.
3. Peel the zucchini and cut into cubes (≈2 by 2 cm). The vegetable is also sent to the frying pan, salted, spices are added and water is poured in. The ingredients are stewed for 10-15 minutes.
4. Finely chop the greens and combine with the vegetables. Blend the stewed ingredients. If the mixture is too thick, dilute it with milk or cream to the desired consistency.
