When the potatoes have already been planted, and there is still some of the harvest left from last year, you need to do something with it so that it doesn’t disappear.
Eating only boiled or fried potatoes is not a good idea. We offer a version of potato pies with kefir. They are very easy to cook and can be done in a frying pan.
To prepare you will need:
- kefir (warm) – 250 g;
- salt – to taste;
- soda ½ tsp;
- flour – 250-300 g;
- potatoes – 6 pcs.;
- butter – 20 g;
- cottage cheese – 150 g;
- herbs to taste.
How to cook
First you need to put the potatoes on to boil.
Mix warm kefir with soda and salt, then you can sift the flour and start kneading the dough.
When ready, make mashed potatoes, add butter and mix with cream cheese and herbs.
Next, we roll out the dough, make the blanks and fill the pies with potato and curd filling.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the pies over medium heat. 2-3 minutes on each side is enough. When ready, pour melted butter over them.
Bon appetit!
