Appetizing and tasty chops can be prepared not only from meat, but also from liver.
To make tender chops, you must not overcook the liver. Many housewives do not cook dishes from this offal only because of the bitter taste.
The liver will not taste bitter if you soak it in milk before cooking.
Ingredients
The list of products consists of:
- pork liver – 500 g;
- milk – 400 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- onions – 1 pc. (large onion);
- flour – 3 tbsp;
- salt and black pepper (ground);
- vegetable oil.
Liver preparation
First, the offal is washed, the bile ducts and film are removed. The liver is placed in a bowl and covered with milk. Leave it in this form for 60 minutes.
Then the liver is removed from the milk and placed on a paper towel. When the excess liquid has been absorbed, it is cut into pieces no thicker than 2 cm.
Each layer is covered with cling film and lightly beaten on both sides.
The onion is grated on a fine grater and the liver pieces are greased with this mixture. Then the product is salted and peppered.
Preparing the batter
Beat the eggs with a fork in a separate bowl. Pour flour into another container.
The liver slices are dipped in flour on both sides, then in beaten eggs and then in flour again.
Cooking chops
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the chops over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
The perfect dish for lunch or dinner is ready. The chops are served with mashed potatoes or vegetable salad.
