An extremely simple recipe for a pate that will complement a crispy baguette sandwich.
Prepared in minutes, minimum dishes and effort.
Ingredients
The list of products consists of:
- hot smoked mackerel – 1 pc.;
- boiled eggs – 2 pcs.;
- onions – ½ onion;
- processed cheese – 1 pc. (90 g);
- mayonnaise – 2-3 tbsp;
- table mustard – 1 tsp (heaped).
How to make pate
1. The fish is cleaned of skin and bones, then moved into a convenient container and mashed with a fork.
2. Mix mackerel with grated eggs, processed cheese and finely chopped onion.
3. Add mayonnaise and mustard to the mixture. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and put the mixture in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to cool.
While the pate is infusing, you can dry baguette slices in a dry frying pan or make croutons from rye bread.
The pate is spread on bread, garnished with fresh herbs and served.
