Shashlik, baked chicken, pork with zucchini and hundreds of other dishes that can be served with sweet and sour sauce.
This supplement to the main meal is prepared from the simplest products and in a matter of minutes.
Ingredients
The list of products consists of:
- tomato paste – 1.5 tbsp;
- soy sauce – 2 tbsp;
- apple cider vinegar – 2 tbsp;
- flour – 1 tsp;
- sugar – 2 tbsp;
- orange juice – 4 tbsp;
- water – 3 tbsp.
How to make sweet and sour sauce
1. Pour sugar into a saucepan, add vinegar, soy sauce and tomato paste.
2. Flour is diluted in water and also sent to the saucepan. Then comes orange juice - better if freshly squeezed.
3. Place the saucepan on the fire, stir and bring to a boil. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from the fire and cool.
After cooling, the sauce acquires a thick consistency and a rich taste, in which a pleasant sweet and sour shade is felt.
This sauce goes well not only with pork, beef or chicken, but also with fish, especially fried or baked.
