It will take a long time before the first zucchini or squash appear, but when you want to treat yourself to the first spring dish, you can use fresh herbs.
Try making spring and aromatic pancakes with green onions and fresh dill. They go great with sour cream.
You will need:
- 2 eggs;
- 200 ml kefir;
- 1/3 tsp salt;
- 1 tsp. soda;
- 200 g flour;
- green onions and dill – to taste;
- vegetable oil.
How to cook
The onion and dill should be washed and finely chopped with a knife.
In a deep bowl, mix eggs and warm kefir, add salt and stir with a whisk or fork.
Next, add baking soda without vinegar, mix and sift the flour.
Knead the dough until all the lumps are completely dissolved and add chopped herbs.
Stir, heat the frying pan with vegetable oil and bake the pancakes on both sides.
Serve with sour cream or natural yogurt.
