Ketchup is a classic addition to shashlik, which is increasingly being replaced with something new and unusual.
You can continue to serve the kebabs with ketchup, or you can spend a couple of minutes to make a delicious sauce. It will make the dish even better.
What ingredients will you need:
- tomato – 3 pcs.;
- bell pepper – 1 pc.;
- tomato paste – 50 g;
- water – 50 g;
- dill – 20 g;
- garlic – 2-3 cloves;
- vinegar, salt, sugar – to taste.
How to prepare the sauce
1. Tomatoes, peppers, dill and garlic are chopped randomly.
Then the vegetables and herbs, along with the rest of the ingredients, are placed in a blender and mixed until smooth.
2. Add vinegar and salt to give the sauce a more pronounced taste.
The ingredients are mixed again and the shashlik additive is ready.
3. This sauce goes well with pork, poultry, and fish.
