If you are tired of classic chicken cutlets in regular flour batter, you can prepare a new version of your favorite dish.
A familiar dish will become even tastier if you cook it in a coat of grated crispy potatoes.
Thanks to this, the dish can be served even without a side dish. And ketchup, mayonnaise, cheese or garlic sauce are great additions.
The list of ingredients consists of:
- chicken fillet – 500 g;
- potatoes – 4 pcs. (medium);
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- flour – 3 tbsp;
- garlic – 3 cloves;
- greens (dill, parsley);
- black pepper (ground);
- salts;
- vegetable oil – for frying.
How to cook chops
1. Wash and dry the chicken fillet, then cut into small slices and lightly beat. Salt, pepper and grease the meat with garlic passed through a press. Marinate the fillet for 15 minutes.
2. Grate the potatoes on a medium grater, then squeeze out the excess liquid. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add eggs, flour, finely chopped greens and salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
3. Dip each piece of fillet in batter and press it well with your hands.
4. Place the frying pan with oil on the fire. After heating, put the fillet in. Fry the pieces on both sides until golden brown.
Some cooking tips
For ready chops, prepare a dish, which is covered with a paper towel. It will absorb excess fat.
You can cook not only chicken in potato batter. Any meat will do.
If the batter is too thin, flour will help thicken it.
