Easter cakes can dry out quite quickly if a major mistake was made during the mixing of the dough.

Considering that the tradition of the holiday requires the obligatory blessing of baked goods, even dried-out Easter cakes should not be thrown away. You just need to choose the right recipe.

The easiest way is to make croutons. You don't have to be a dreamer to do this, just cut the Easter cake into cubes or flat slices, and then dry it in the oven on a baking sheet covered with parchment at 170 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.

It’s even easier to cut them into cubes, dry them, and grind them into breadcrumbs.

But there are more delicious recipes, like "Potato" cakes.

  • 85 g butter;
  • 70 g sugar;

Walnut kernels should be roasted in a dry frying pan and crushed into fine crumbs, then mixed with breadcrumbs.

Next, mix the condensed milk with melted butter and 2 tbsp. cocoa in a separate container. Add sugar if desired.

Beat the resulting mass with a mixer until fluffy and homogeneous, and then add the mass of breadcrumbs and nuts.

Stir it to make a crumbly mixture and gradually add milk, stirring the dough.

When it becomes plastic, you can form the cakes, roll them in cocoa powder and place the cakes in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Bon appetit!
