Bean pate is a successful combination of ingredients that makes a unique appetizer for a family dinner, lunch or holiday feast.
The advantages of the recipe, according to housewives, are the simplicity of the ingredients, the ease of the cooking process and the result, which exceeds all expectations.
The list of ingredients consists of:
- canned red beans – 0.4 kg;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- hot pepper;
- lemon juice – a tablespoon;
- parsley;
- curry - teaspoon;
- Italian or Provencal herbs – ½ teaspoon;
- salt and black pepper;
- water – 2 tablespoons;
- vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons.
How to prepare
1. Finely chop the onion while the frying pan with vegetable oil is heating up. Then fry the vegetable, and add slices of garlic and a few rings of hot chili (or seasoning flakes).
2. Fry the ingredients over low heat for 10-12 minutes. Then add the curry and herb mixture and mix thoroughly. Fry for another 1-2 minutes and then remove from heat.
3. Transfer the contents of the pan to a blender, but allow the ingredients to cool slightly (2-3 minutes).
4. Pour some water into the blender and then add the beans. The liquid in the jar should be drained; it is not needed to make the pate.
5. Blend the ingredients until smooth and then transfer to a suitable container. Pour in lemon juice, add chopped greens, salt and black pepper. Those who like it spicy add a few more rings of chopped chili.
6. Put the pate in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Then all that remains is to make bread in the toaster and taste the snack.
