Not every housewife has the opportunity to cook something new for her household, no matter how much she would like to.
First, it takes time, and second, cooking has its limits, at least financially. Here's an easy way to update your mashed potato recipe.
To prepare you will need:
- 1 kg potatoes;
- 120 g cheese;
- 1 egg;
- milk;
- butter.
How to cook
Almost nothing new. The tubers need to be washed, peeled, cut if necessary so that they cook evenly, and put to cook.
They say that it is better to put potatoes in already warm water and necessarily salted.
The vegetables are boiled until done for about 20 minutes, after which the water is drained, butter is added and the tubers are mashed.
The milk should be preheated, but not boiled. Then add a raw egg, warm milk, a little salt and mash the tubers into a puree.
Add butter, let the puree sit covered for 5 minutes and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, mix it with potatoes, put it into portioned pots, the walls of which need to be treated with butter, sprinkle with herbs and put in the oven for 15 minutes.
