Tomato Soup Recipe: Delicious, Healthy, and Lent-Friendly

Anyone who has ever been on a diet or fasting knows how hard it is on such days. After all, it is precisely when you can’t that you start to want what you want least on any other day.

For this occasion, you can prepare a simple but very appetizing tomato soup.

To prepare you will need:

  • 600 g tomatoes;
  • 200 g red bell pepper;
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic;
  • fresh herbs,
  • aromatic herbs,
  • vegetable oil,
  • salt.

How to cook

First, you need to cut the tomatoes, remove the seeds from the pepper and place everything on a baking sheet.

Chop the garlic and sprinkle it over the vegetables.

Sprinkle everything with vegetable oil, spices, aromatic herbs and salt.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the vegetables for 40-60 minutes.

Then the peppers and tomatoes need to be peeled and chopped in a blender.

Well, that's all, the soup is ready.

If desired, if the mixture is too thick, you can dilute it with boiled water.

Serve with fresh herbs, croutons or seeds.
