They say that you can't cook manti without a mantovarka or at least a steamer. However, experienced cooks claim that everything will work out if you have at least a frying pan.
At the same time, no one says that the semi-finished products will have to be fried. But in the end, it will turn out no worse than the original.
How to cook
1. You need to take the largest and deepest frying pan. Then treat the bottom and walls with vegetable oil and place the manti inside.
There shouldn't be a lot of oil, just enough so that the semi-finished products don't stick during the cooking process.
2. Now pour in the most ordinary water. It should cover the manti halfway, then add salt and cover the pan with a lid.
3. Bring the water to a boil and then reduce the heat so that the water barely simmers, and cook for 35-40 minutes.
4. During this time, the water should boil away completely. This moment cannot be missed, otherwise the manti may stick to the bottom of the pan and even burn.
The main thing is to focus on the amount of water in the pan, and then you can cook juicy and tasty manti without tricks and special equipment.
Serve with sour cream or sauce, herbs or fried onions.
Bon appetit!
