The dessert will surprise even sophisticated lovers of sweets, who only look at store-bought delicacies.

Apple pies with an unusual filling will perfectly complement your tea party and will help out when guests are on the doorstep.

The list of products consists of:

  • cherries – 250 g;
  • sweet apples – 200 g;
  • starch – 25 g;
  • powdered sugar – 2 tablespoons;
  • mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger - a quarter teaspoon.

Preparation

1. Remove the pits from the cherries. If you have frozen cherries left, these berries will do as well.

2. Cut the apples into cubes approximately 1 cm in size. Roll the berries and fruits in a mixture of starch and powdered sugar.

3. Then the filling is sprinkled with spices and placed into the pies.

Thanks to starch, the filling will not "run away" and will not spread across the frying pan or baking sheet. Semolina or flour will also give the filling thickness.

The spices will give the pies a piquant taste, reminiscent of mulled wine.
