Many housewives use crab sticks not only for making salads.
This product can be used to make a more filling treat that will add variety to your menu.
Cooking crab stick cutlets takes little time, the set of products is almost no different from the standard recipe.
The list of ingredients consists of:
- crab sticks – 400 g;
- breadcrumbs – 50 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- flour – 4 tablespoons;
- mayonnaise and spices - to taste.
Preparation
1. The main product is grated. The resulting mixture is placed in a bowl and 1 egg, flour, spices and a little mayonnaise are added there.
2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Beat another egg in another bowl. Pour the crackers onto a saucer.
3. Cutlets are formed from the minced meat, which are first dipped in egg and then in breading.
4. Place the cutlets on a preheated frying pan and fry in a small amount of oil for 5 minutes on each side.
Side dish for cutlets
A side dish of cauliflower goes well with crab stick cutlets. Wash the cauliflower florets in lightly salted water and boil them for 6-7 minutes.
Then they are removed from the pan, the water is allowed to drain. The cabbage is fried in a frying pan for 4-5 minutes. The dish is salted, mixed and breadcrumbs are added. After this, they are fried for another 5 minutes, and then the chicken eggs are poured in, after which they are cooked for another 2-3 minutes.
If desired, you can add grated cheese to the dish and fry for another 1 minute. This side dish can be served with fish stick cutlets.
