Four ingredients will provide a luxurious dish that can be served as a main course.
This is how it differs from the usual jacket potatoes, which are usually served as a side dish.
This option does not need any additional ingredients, because the dish is already wonderful. And with meat or fish the dish will become even more delicious.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 8 tubers;
- egg white – 2 pcs.;
- sea salt – 4 tablespoons;
- butter – 50 g.
Preparation
1. You don't need to peel the potatoes, but you do need to wash the tubers thoroughly. Then make 2-3 holes in each potato with a fork.
2. The secret of the amazing taste is in the protein cream. During the baking process, it will envelop the tubers. Therefore, the whites are whipped and each potato is dipped into the mixture.
3. Then the vegetable is rolled in salt and placed on a baking tray. The potatoes are baked in the oven for an hour and a half at 160 °C.
After 90 minutes, increase the temperature to 200 °C and cook for another hour.
4. Before serving, shake off the salt from the tubers and make deep cuts. Place a piece of butter in them.
It takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes to prepare, but the dish tastes better than potatoes cooked over coals.
