It is always difficult to keep a rich harvest fresh for a long time, especially greens.
Experienced gardeners advise making a fragrant spice from the surplus for all culinary occasions.
The additive will perfectly complement your favorite dish. It will go with everything, unless it is a dessert. The spice does not contain anything extra.
How to prepare spice
First, chop the dill and then dry it on a large baking sheet. Next, squeeze 6-7 cloves of garlic into the container with the greens.
Then dill is sprinkled with salt - 1 kg. The greens can be taken by eye, for example, so that it fills one baking tray.
As for salt, you shouldn't take iodized salt, it's better to take coarse-grained salt. Mix dill, salt and garlic thoroughly and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Next, dry the preparation at a minimum temperature for 60 minutes. Garlic will indicate the readiness of the spice - it will literally crumble in your fingers.
The finished seasoning is stored in a jar with a lid next to other spices.
Thus, part of the rich dill harvest can be frozen or dried, and the remaining greens can be used to prepare a universal spice.
