Mashed potatoes, no matter how you cook them, stay delicious until they cool down. After a night in the fridge, it's hard to get them back to their original flavor.
However, you shouldn't throw it away. You just need to know how to properly heat the puree so that it tastes good.
How to Revive Yesterday's Mashed Potatoes
First of all, you don't need to put it in the microwave right after the refrigerator.
First, you need to knead the food properly, loosen it – in a word, mix it. Use an ordinary spoon or fork.
Secondly, it is better to heat it up in a frying pan.
Before putting them in the frying pan, you can mix the potatoes with butter or cream. The cream is poured directly into the frying pan, brought to a boil, and then, after reducing the heat, the puree is put in small portions.
Thirdly, remove the puree from the heat in time.
If you heat it together with cream, you need to do it before this ingredient starts to burn and a crust starts to form on the puree itself.
All that remains is to sprinkle the dish with fresh herbs and it can be served.
