Usually, when it comes to warming winter drinks, the first thing that comes to mind is alcoholic drinks. It is not healthy.
If you are tired of tea and coffee, try hot chocolate with hot chili pepper. Save the simplest recipe.
To prepare you will need:
- 250 ml milk;
- 40 g chocolate (dark);
- 10 g chili pepper (without seeds);
- cinnamon, vanilla, sugar to taste;
- a pinch of salt.
How to cook
To prepare the drink, you need to use dark chocolate, i.e. with a marking of at least 72%.
The bar needs to be broken into pieces, put into a saucepan with a thick bottom and add 60 ml of milk. If you are not on a diet, then the fatter the milk, the better.
Heat the contents over low heat until smooth.
Once the chocolate has melted, add the remaining milk in a thin stream.
Then you need to mix and you can add spices - hot pepper, salt and sugar, herbs.
You don't need to boil the drink, just warm it up thoroughly.
When ready, strain, pour into cups and drink hot.
If you don’t strain it, but let the chocolate sit, the flavor of the spices and herbs will be more intense.
