In Serbia, cutlets are no less popular than in the post-Soviet countries.
But Serbian housewives are in demand for a recipe that is slightly different from the usual version.
They add bacon to the cutlets. Some people might find this option strange or stupid, but this product makes the dish more juicy and flavorful.
Ingredients:
- minced pork – 250 g;
- bacon – 50 g;
- hard cheese – 50 g;
- chili pepper – 1 pc.;
- garlic - clove;
- paprika – 1 teaspoon.
Preparation
1. Bacon is cut into small pieces. Cheese, garlic and chili pepper are chopped.
2. Four ingredients are added to the mince. To make the cutlets even more aromatic and delicious, you can add black pepper, cumin, coriander or savory.
3. After adding the spices, mix the minced meat thoroughly and then put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
4. Before frying, preheat the frying pan with oil, then put the cutlets in. Fry on both sides and serve with tomato sauce.
