Italy is considered the birthplace of everything related to pasta preparation, and therefore the famous recipe for the famous Bolognese sauce should be sought among Italian chefs.

We'll tell you how to prepare that very dish and how it differs from pasta with minced meat topped with ketchup.

To prepare you will need:

  • 100 g minced meat (pork and beef);
  • 70 g spaghetti;
  • 50 g tomato paste;
  • 40 g onions;
  • 40 g celery;
  • 30 ml wine (red, dry);
  • 30 grams of olive oil;
  • 20 g Parmesan cheese;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 5 g basil leaves;
  • salt and pepper (ground black) 2 gr.

How to cook

The sauce is prepared in a frying pan with a thick bottom and non-stick coating. For cooking spaghetti, choose a product made from durum wheat. The mince is defrosted in advance.

Wash the onion, garlic, celery and basil and chop the vegetables finely. Then fry the onion and celery in olive oil. As soon as the vegetables turn golden, add the minced meat and fry until done.

Next, add tomato paste, salt, pepper, basil and garlic, 10 ml of water. Simmer until the paste becomes thick. Now add wine and simmer for another 2 minutes.

Boil the spaghetti al dente. Grate the parmesan on a fine grater, put the cooked pasta in the pan with the sauce, mix, put on plates, sprinkle with parmesan on top.

As you can see, the recipe is significantly different from what students and bachelors prepare.

Bon appetit!
