Lentil soup puree only sounds like something heavy for the body and difficult to prepare at home.
In fact, this is a healthy dish for digestion, which is not so difficult to prepare without professional skills.
To prepare you will need:
- 280 g red lentils;
- 1 onion;
- 2 carrots;
- 4 cloves of garlic;
- 2 cups tomato paste;
- 7 cups of broth;
- vegetable oil;
- oregano, pepper, cumin, salt to taste;
- fresh dill.
How to cook
The lentils need to be washed several times, the onion, garlic and carrots need to be peeled, chopped, shredded and grated.
Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan, fry the onion first, then the carrots, then add garlic, spices and after a couple of minutes, rinse the lentils, tomato paste and vegetable broth.
Mix the ingredients and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook at minimum heat for 25-30 minutes.
Once ready, remove the soup from the heat and use a blender to puree the ingredients, bring to a boil again and turn off the heat.
The soup is served hot with fresh herbs.
