The purpose of the tonic is to care for the skin of the face.
To create it, manufacturers use distilled and/or thermal water with active substances: these additives serve to moisturize, soften the skin or refresh it.
Toner should be used to restore the acid-base balance of the skin and make it ready to absorb skin care products.
How to use toner correctly
Perhaps the biggest mistake people make when using toner is that they apply it to dirty skin.
This composition is not intended for removing makeup: first, you need to wash off the makeup, then wash with clean water, then blot, and only at this stage is it allowed to use a toner.
This can be done with a cotton pad soaked in liquid or with your fingers.
In the latter case, it is worth lightly patting your face with your fingertips so that the active ingredients penetrate deeper into the skin.
There is no need to wash off the toner, otherwise you will simply reduce its effectiveness to zero.
Sometimes after using the composition you just want to rinse your face with water because of the feeling of tightness - this occurs if the product was chosen incorrectly.
After 10 minutes you can apply cream or serum.
