If you want healthy, strong and shiny hair, you should start with scalp care.
The scalp type is determined by the amount of sebum it produces.
How to determine your scalp type
To understand what type of scalp you have, try to assess the condition of your hair and pay attention to how often you wash your hair.
Those with oily scalps have to wash their hair every day or at most every two days to keep their locks looking beautiful.
If you are lucky and your skin type is characterized as normal, then your head will remain fresh for up to three days.
Finally, if you have to deal with dry scalp, your hair will not look dirty even a week after washing.
The tissue paper test gives much more accurate results.
Wash your hair and after two days blot your skin with tissue paper and then assess its condition.
If you see a small, translucent spot on the paper, then you have normal skin, while very oily skin is an indicator of excessive sebum production, and the absence of traces indicates dry scalp.
