As Timoshchenko explained, the following symptoms may occur: loss of appetite, rapid satiety, heaviness after eating, and sudden weight loss.
“Hunger pains” or abdominal pain on an empty stomach and at night, nausea, and vomiting may also occur.
According to the specialist, when making a diagnosis, a gastroscopy is mandatory.
This is necessary to determine the type and location of the tumor and take a biopsy.
It is also necessary to conduct an endoscopic ultrasound and a computed tomography scan with contrast, the doctor added.
