During facial cleansing, excess and contaminated contents of the skin pores are removed along with the top layer of cells, resulting in smoother and velvety skin, inflammation disappearing from it, and makeup applying better.
Important: If you want to avoid unwanted consequences, consult a dermatologist before cleaning.
Wash your face
Remove makeup from your face, then wash your face with warm water and scrub or exfoliant. Apply the product to your face and massage it a little.
Open your pores
Boil a pot of water, drop in essential oil (chamomile or mint can be added) and lean over the container so that the steam warms but does not burn your face. Throw a towel over your head and stay in this position for about 7-10 minutes to open your pores and soften their contents.
Cleanse your pores
To clean your pores, you will need a Uno spoon or a comedone removal loop. The tool, like your hands, must be disinfected with chlorhexidine.
Position the tool so that the pore is exactly in the center of the hole. Gently move the spoon, squeezing out the contents of the pore. Do not apply too much force to avoid damaging the skin.
You can also use your hands: in this case, carefully press with your fingertips (preferably through a sterile napkin) on the skin on both sides of the comedone. If the sebaceous plug does not give in, move on to another pore.
Clean the rest of the clogged pores in the same way. If there are many blackheads, it is better to remove them gradually, at intervals of several weeks.
Close your pores
Wipe your face with chlorhexidine or an alcohol-containing toner that has a pore-tightening effect. A pore-tightening mask – alginate or clay – will be beneficial.
Finally, apply a moisturizer to your face.
