Dead skin cells, sebum and dirt cause the pores on our face to become clogged.
If the sebum becomes too thick, it cannot escape and a plug forms.
The top of this plug oxidizes when exposed to air and darkens. It is colored dark by the pigment melanin, a product of tyrosine oxidation.
These dark spots become especially noticeable against light skin.
By the way, they can occur not only in people with oily or problematic skin: with improper care, blackheads appear in many people, but not everyone knows how to get rid of them.
Here are some homemade masks that can solve this problem.
Egg white
Beat the egg white with a fork and spread it over the problem areas. Put paper napkins on top and apply another layer of egg white, thicker. Let the mask dry (this will take about 20-30 minutes) and quickly tear off the napkins. The faster you do this, the better the effect will be.
Kefir
Another easy method to get rid of blackheads at home is to apply kefir to your skin for 20 minutes. You can add one drop of tea tree oil and one spoon of clay to the kefir. Mix them and apply to your entire face for 15 minutes.
Baking soda
Add a little soda to warm water, mix until it becomes a paste and apply the mixture to your face for 20 minutes. You don’t need to rub the mask in – just spread it out gently. It is recommended to do this mask once or twice a week for a month.
