This is why it is important to know what measures can help you avoid painful parasite bites.

For this purpose, you can, of course, use synthetic chemicals, but it is much safer to opt for natural repellents, which are no less effective in repelling mosquitoes and midges.

First place in terms of effectiveness should be given to citronella oil - an essential oil that is obtained from the leaves and stems of the plant of the same name.

Its pleasant (for humans) smell has a repellent effect on insects.

Other scents that will act as a barrier between you and blood-sucking parasites include elderberry, bird cherry, geranium, coniferous plants, etc.

Well, we want to share with you a recipe for a clove cocktail – it was known and actively used back in Soviet times.

To prepare the remedy, you will need 5 g of dried buds and 200 ml of water. The mixture should be boiled and cooked for another 15 minutes.

When the decoction has cooled, it should be strained, poured into a spray bottle and applied to clothing.
