Until December 6, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Belarus will carry out preventive measures aimed at improving the safety of passenger transportation by taxi vehicles.

How the State Traffic Inspectorate Checks Taxi Drivers
Representatives of the Transport Inspectorate take part in the events, which are held throughout the country.
Particular attention is paid to the physical condition of taxi drivers, whether they have a driver's license, the technical condition of the car, taxi drivers' compliance with speed limits, safe transportation conditions, rules for maneuvering and crossing pedestrian crossings.
Inspectors also conduct explanatory talks with drivers, the department’s press service said in a statement.
Administrative measures are taken against the heads of organizations that allowed faulty vehicles to be used.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds carriers that they bear increased responsibility for the lives and health of passengers, and calls on all road users to comply with established rules.
