According to the results of the past week – from September 16 to 22 – a record number of Belarusian Belgee cars were sold in Russia.
During the specified period of time, 1,139 new cars of this brand were sold in the neighboring state.
This was reported by the analytical agency "Autostat", noting that the given figure is a record indicator for sales of Belarusian cars in 1 week.
Before this, the largest number of Belgee cars in Russia was sold in the 17th week of the year – 1,042 units.
Experts say that the brand's record sales volume has ensured its highest position in the brand rankings of the Russian car market.
To be more specific: based on the results of last week, Belgee settled in sixth place (previously, the maximum was seventh position).
The leader of the rating is still the Russian LADA - 8,605 of these cars were sold in the Russian Federation last week.
Next come four Chinese brands at once: Haval (4,541 units), Geely (3,899), Chery (3,866) and Changan (2,733).
Sixth place goes to the Belarusian brand Belgee (1,139), followed by four more “Chinese” brands – OMODA (1,010), Jetour (921), EXEED (827) and TANK (749).
In total, 36,673 new passenger cars were sold in Russia last week, which is 14% more than the previous week.
