The Minsk State Traffic Safety Inspectorate continues to conduct raids as part of the campaign “There is no place for a drunk or disenfranchised person on the road” that is ongoing until November 11.
The press service of the capital's State Traffic Inspectorate reported this on Telegram.
What the Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate reminded drivers about
The capital's State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that driving while intoxicated or without a license entails liability, and calls on drivers to strictly comply with the Traffic Regulations.
The State Traffic Inspectorate also calls on people to call 102 to report drunk drivers.
The administrative penalty for drunk driving depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood/its vapor in the exhaled air.
At a concentration of 0.3 to 0.8 ppm, liability is provided in the form of a fine of 100 BV with deprivation of rights for three years.
If the concentration exceeds 0.8 ppm, a fine of 200 BV and a five-year driving ban are provided.
Committing the said violation again within one year entails criminal liability.
