In Belarus, from December 1, it is officially prohibited to drive cars with summer tires.
It would be advisable to “change to” winter tires in advance, without waiting for the first day of the calendar winter to arrive.
From today, due to the established winter weather conditions, it is prohibited to participate in road traffic in a car with summer tires, the Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate’s TG channel reports.
Law enforcement officers also explained what else drivers need to know to make their trip as safe as possible.
First of all, it is strongly recommended not to exceed the permitted speed, and taking into account the weather, to choose the safest one.
In the current weather conditions, you should not make any sudden maneuvers.
In such weather conditions, it is extremely important to maintain distance and the necessary lateral interval in relation to other vehicles.
When approaching a pedestrian crossing, the driver must reduce speed.
For reference
A car tire is one of the most important elements of a wheel, consisting of an elastic rubber-metal-fabric shell mounted on the rim of a disk.
